Sign up for our September SciComm workshop!

Open to all PSU- enrolled graduate students. The workshop will focus on honing students' skills in communicating scientific research to the public. We will be hearing directly from professional science writers, and students will write a news article about a fellow graduate student, to be published on our website. We will discuss different tactics and resources you can use to publicize yourself and your research. Workshops are scheduled for the following dates/times:

• Monday Sept 8; 3-5 PM
• Monday Sept 15; 3-5 PM
• Monday Sept 22; 3-5 PM

The workshop builds from previous material/content over the summer, so these sessions are not 'drop-in' but part of a serial structured experience. Please plan to attend all three sessions if you wish to join. Coffee and snacks will be provided.

We have four open seats for this workshop series. Graduate students who wish to participate can sign up here (include your program affiliation and a brief description of your thesis research).
