R Shiny for Ecologists (offered 3/25/25)

This workshop, offered 25 March 2025, taught registrants to visualize open-source iNaturalist observations in R Studio via the R Shiny platform. We used pre-built code to import and map species distributions over dinner during this two-hour guided workshop.
This free, in-person workshop was designed for individuals with little to no prior experience with coding in R.

Design your own interactive framework to explore a specific plant, animal and/or region of interest.
This workshop's instructor is Dr. Natalie Boyle. Natalie is an assistant research professor of Entomology and Lead Coordinator for the INSECT NET program.
